Trip to the Hawaii of China (Hainan)

We were so warmly greeted at the Hainan airport by our driver holding this sign.











We decided to trek away from the resorts and get a better close at the "real" Hainan. we ran into this canal running down the middle of the street. They had "engineered" a few bridges every so often so they could cross it without treading through the nasty garbage saturated muddy water. You can see how everybody has been tossing their garbage in.




























This kid just got done squatting on the side of the street and taking a dump. Thats it right to
the right of him.
