Our Travels across the country!

So we started out in Florida, where we moved out of our house and said goodbye to friends (#5-Emma, her friend Claire who moved the same day and her teacher). Then we went to Disneyland (pics1-4, 9 & 10). Tom did the last day all alone with the kids, luckily someone took a picture, while Laura and I went to Hollywood Studio and rode Tower of Terror. Then we went to Missouri and stayed with Tom's Aunt Pat and Uncle Alan. We had some good southern cookin' and rode the mule (golf cart thing), oh and sat in the "princess chair."(pics 7-8) Then we drove through Texas and New Mexico and went to Arches Nat'l Park. (obvious pictures). We drove to Utah and rode Trax to the childrens museum, that is the kids trying to stay warm in their Florida jackets. We also got to see Kelli's babies which Emma and Mattie loved and I think only Allison got dropped on her head (sorry again Kelli).

Then on to Idaho where we rode the scooter and saw Claire and Ethan off to prom. It was such a nice relaxing time, thanks mom and dad. Thursday a.m. Tom woke up at 4:30 and drove to Willard Utah and bought his coot (picture above) and with Taylors help we got a trailer. Then we left around 5:00 p.m. and drove till 2:30 a.m. at which time we arrived at the Acorn Motel. A real winner, except that it has a full size kitchen, separate bedrooms and a washer and dryer so I really can't complain. The next night it snowed, to which the kids were thrilled, but we were a little shocked. Since then we have driven around Oak Harbor and Anacortes debating buying vs. renting and where and how and everything else. The kids have been real troopers.

The last pictures were taken and the tulip fields they have up here, so pretty! and then the next is the kids treat at the Holland Happenings parade on sat. Later that night Tom took them to the carnival and they got to ride all the rides. We are happy and blessed and despite not having a home we are grateful for our blessings.
